Duration: 16 Days / 15 Nights.
Accommodation: Safari lodges and hotels.

Days 1-2: Africat Foundation
» rrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek International) Airport, where you will be met by your guide.
» Subsequent drive via the capital of Namibia, Windhoek in a northerly direction via Okahandja to Okonjima Lodge, home of the Africat Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and protection of Namibian wild cats, in particular leopard and cheetah.
» Enjoy the opportunity to admire and photograph these predators.
» Two overnight stays at Okonjima Lodge - Fullboard incl activities.br />
Day 3: Damaraland
» Departure from Okonjima via Otjiwarongo, Outjo and Khorixas to Camp Doro Nawas.
» In the afternoon we visit Twyfelfontein, which means “doubtful fountain” and resembles a large, open-air art gallery.
» This treasure house of rock engravings left by stone-age artists is regarded as one of the richest collections of rock engravings in Africa.
» South of Twyfelfontein is the Burnt Mountain, a panorama of desolation with coloured rocks contrasting vividly against the grey-black surroundings.
» The Organ Pipes, a mass of basalt slabs in a ravine gouged out by a river, is another geological curiosity in the area.
» Overnight stay at Doro Nawas Camp or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 4: Damaraland
» After breakfast, we head for our next destination being Palmwag Lodge.
» The afternoon is at own leisure.
» Relax at the swimming pool under shady palms or discover the neighbouring nature on one of the well-situated hiking trails.
» Overnight stay at Palmwag Lodge or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 5:
» Enjoy a full day tour in open 4 x 4 game-viewing vehicles into the concession area of the lodge, search for desert elephants in the Hoanib River or physically track amongst a wide variety of game – the mighty desert elephant and the threatened black rhino by 4x4 vehicle.
» Overnight at the Palmwag Lodge or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 6: Etosha National Park
» Leaving Palmwag Lodge, we travel via the Grootberg Pass to Kamanjab and further on the tarred road to the Etosha National Park.
» Afternoon arrival at the Okaukuejo Restcamp in the Etosha National Park.
» At the heart of this National Park is the Etosha Pan, a vast dry shallow depression.
» Perennial springs feed the waterholes along the southern verge, which attract a myriad of animal species.
» Overnight stay in a bungalow in the Okaukuejo restcamp or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 7: Etosha National Park
» Discover the mysteries of the African bush in Etosha National Park.
» We are spending the day doing game drives in the park and visit the numerous waterholes that attract a large diversity of animal and bird species, many of these being endemic to the country.
» Overnight stay in a bungalow in the Okaukuejo Restcamp or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 8: Etosha National Park
» From east to west past Fort Namutoni to the Mushara Lodge, where we spend one night.
» En route, we stop at the numerous perennial springs found along the edge of the salt pan in search of Lion, Leopard, Elephant and Black Rhino.
» Overnight stay at Namutoni Camp or similar on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 9: Okavango River
» Early departure from Mushara Lodge for Hakusembe River Lodge on the banks of the Okavango River.
» When entering the Kavango District, we will be driving past various small townships.
» Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Okavango as an optional activity.
» Overnight stay at Hakusembe River Lodge or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Days 10-11: Okavango River
» Today’s destination is Ndhovu Lodge nearby the Popa Falls and the Mahango Game Reserve.
» Mahango, is a small national park, but it protects great diversity.
» With the western side being pure dry Kalahari bush, the eastern side is riverine forest, open floodplain and papyrus swamps of the Okavango River.
» This tremendous variation allows is to boast more bird species than any other Namibian park as well as an array of larger mammal species too.
» We will spend our time here going on game drives and exploring the area.
» Two overnight stays at Ndhovu Lodge or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Days 12-13: Mudumu National Park
» Today we continue eastwards via the Caprivi Strip to Lianshulu Lodge in the Mudumu National Park, which is a wedgeshaped intrusion into northern Botswana.
» The park was proclaimed in 1990 and shares the Kwando River as its western border.
» Hundred of elephants, large herd of buffalo and several other species cram the Kwando floodplains just before the onset of summer rains.
» A varied cultural experience adds to the region’s attraction with an optional visit to one of the traditional villages, which provides an insight into the history and lifestyle of the Caprivian people.
» Two overnight stays at Lianshulu Lodge or similar - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 14: Grootfontein
» Today we are leaving the Caprivi- as well as the Kavango area and travel south to Grootfontein, where we spend the night at Roy’s Camp.
» Overnight stay at Roy’s Camp - Dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 15: Windhoek
» Return journey via Otavi, Otjiwarongo and Okahandja to Windhoek.
» Okahandja is an important centre for woodcarvers from the north.
» They practice their ancient skills at the Woodcarvers Market next to the main road.
» This is a good place to pick a last souvenir.
» Overnight stay at Olive Grove Guesthouse or similar on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 16: Windhoek
» Spend the day in Namibia’s capital.
» In time for check-in on your outbound flight, road transfer from Olive Grove Guesthouse to Hosea Kutako Airport.
» Bid farewell to Namibia!
