Duration: 12 Days / 11 Nights.
Accommodation: Safari lodges and hotels.

Day 1: Africat Foundation
» Arrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek International) airport, where you will be met by your guide.
» Subsequent tra drive in a northerly direction via Okahandja to Okonjima Lodge, home of the Africat Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and protection of Namibian wild cats, in particular leopard and cheetah.
» Enjoy the opportunity to admire and photograph these predators.
» One overnight stay at Okonjima Lodge/ or similar -fullboard.

Day 2: Grootfontein
» We are proceeding in a northerly direction via Grootfontein and the Hoba Meteorite to the Tsumkwe area, where we will visit a Bushmen Project.
» One overnight camping near the Bushmen project - fullboard.

Day 3: Kaudum National Park
» Our journey continues to the Kaudum National Park, the most remote and desolated national park in Namibia.
» Our camp will be set up in Camp Sikeretti in the south of Kaudum.
» In the afternoon we go on a gamedrive in the area in search of elephants and possibly some predators. Excellent birding can be experienced.
» One camping overnight in Kaudum National Park - fullboard.

Day 4: Kaudum National Park
» Whilst we are continuing our journey through the Park in a northerly direction, we can expect some good gameviewing.
» Our camp will be erected at the Kaudum Camp, which is idyllically situated on a huge sanddune just above the Kaudum River.
» Whilst your guide is preparing tonight’s dinner, watch the game coming to drink at the waterhole.
» One camping overnight in Kaudum National Park - fullboard.

Days 5-6: Okavango River
» We are leaving the Kaudum National Park for the Popa Falls at Bagani.
» We visit one of the traditional Kavango villages, before we continue to Ndhovu Lodge.
» Enjoy the scenery on a sundowner boatcruise on the Okavango River.
» We going on gameviewing excursions in the nearby Mahango National Park.
» Excellent gameviewing, i.e. Red Lechwe, Sable, Hippos, Elephants, Crocodiles and the usual plains game as well as birding can be experienced.
» When in bed you can listen to the ripple of the Okavango River.
» Two overnight stays at Ndhovu Lodge/ or similar - fullboard

Days 7-8: Mudumu National Park
» We continue eastwards via the Caprivi Strip to Lianshulu Lodge in the Mudumu National Park, which is a wedgeshaped intrusion into northern Botswana.
» The park was proclaimed in 1990 and shares the Kwando River as its western border.
» Hundred of elephants, large herd of buffalo and several other species cram the Kwando floodplaints just before the onset of summer rains.
» A varied cultural experience adds to the region’s attraction with an optional visit to one of the traditional villages, which provides an insight into the history and lifestyle of the Caprivian people.
» Two overnight stays at Lianshulu Lodge/ or similar - fullboard.

Days 9-10: Bwabwata National Park
» Today’s destination is the beautiful Susuwe Island Lodge, which offers the opportunity to experience closely a wild and untouched island in the remote Kwando River.
» From here we undertake game expeditions in open 4x4 vehicles in the Bwabwata National Park.
» Game sightings in this river cradle could include vast herds of roaming elephant and buffalo, lions, hippos, leopards, sable, roan, lechwe and puku.
» Night drives at Susuwe offer an even loser insight into the intrigue of the African bush.
» There is outstanding bird watching in this area in a variety of riverine, floodplain and grassland habitats. Boating, nature walks,picnics or infinite relaxation in the cool respite of Susuwe Island Lodge are all possible.
» Two overnight stays at Susuwe Island Lodge/ or similar - Fullboard.

Day 11: Windhoek
» A charter flight takes you to Eros Airport, Windhoek.
» Subsequent transfer to Olive Grove Guesthouse.
» Overnight stay at Olive Grove Guesthouse/ or similar - bed & breakfast.

Day 12: Windhoek
» Spend the day in Namibia’s capital. In the morning you will be taken on a city tour.
» Windhoek is a city of many contrasts. Modern skyscrapers blend with historic buildings dating from the turn of the century.
» Several buildings from the German colonial era have been preserved and restored to fulfil useful functions in the community today.
» Some of the sights you will see on your tour are the Ride Memorial, the Old Fort, the Parliament Building (also known as the “Ink Place”), the Lutheran Church, the Railway Station and many more.
» In time for check-in on your outbound flight, road transfer from Olive Grove Guesthouse to Hosea Kutako Airport.
» Bid farewell to Namibia!
