Namibia Safari Guide

Some of the most photographic areas in Africa, with Desert landscapes, bush-veld and National Parks teeming with wildlife - Namibia is a safari destination that should not be missed when you get the opportunity.

The best time for safaris and tours is between May and October (the winter months in Southern Africa), but although hot in summer there is less tourist around and the best time to escape those European winters.

A sense of freedom is generated by the wide horizons, the clear unpolluted skies and a population density which is among the lowest in the world.

Namibia is the perfect location to experience the wonders of scenery, bird-life and wildlife in Africa.

Namibia, the country is located in Southern Africa and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Angola. Formerly known as South West Africa but now Namibia after the Namib Desert.

The most popular destinations are The Namib Desert and Etosha National Park, a must visit on every safari itinerary.
